A look at HRS - Harmonic Resolution Systems

Like more than one high-end audio company, HRS came into being when a hobby (music) intersected a profession (mechanical engineering), and Michael Latvis realized there was value to be had in combining the two.

Prior to founding Harmonic Resolution Systems in 1999, Latvis had specialized in vibration isolation technology for commercial and military aircraft and missile defense systems. He understood the vulnerability of sensitive electronics in situations where shock and vibration could lead to bit error and even shut down.

So it only made sense that lowering the noise floor for high-end components, amplifiers, turntables, and digital sources would result in a more involving listening experience.

HRS was founded on the understanding that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to better audio. So they’ve created a wide range of footers, bases and stands that can be customized, not only to the type of component, but also to the brand and even the model.

Modularity and adaptability are the core tenets of every HRS product.

The three major stand options, from the affordable EXR to the premium VXR are explained in the short videos below.

Additionally there a two types of isolation feet, the NIMBUS and VORTEX.

And four types of isolation bases: E1, RX3, the S3, and the M3X2.

With long experience, The Audio Salon, working closely with HRS, can tailor the precise combination of ingredients to optimize the performance of every component in your system.
