ABOUT THE FOUNDER:

As a lifelong vinyl collector with almost 2,000 records at the time of writing, Fabian Geyrhalter struggled with the way he preferred to store his records, which, naturally, was library-style. He found himself repeatedly selecting records with fat spines or easy-to-read titles – the ones he could quickly recognize. Fabian was fully aware that he was leaving out any thin spines, older second-hand records with illegible spines, or those without titles displayed on their spines altogether.

As a trained graphic designer turned brand strategist, he also absolutely loved flipping through vinyl. The discovery part and the wonderful artwork were half the fun of selecting which record to play. This was also what made going to record stores so exciting for him, a habit he maintained both locally and globally.

One day, he quickly sketched out a solution: a cube housing records that, upon touch and pull, would spin 90 degrees forwards. This allowed Fabian to easily flip through them while still stashing them away in the manner he loved, with spines facing outwards – in his mind, the only proper way to show off a vinyl collection without turning his home into a record store.

The sketch collected dust for years, but then the pandemic arrived, providing him with more time to spend at home with his collection. One fine day, Fabian began working slowly to turn his dream and personal need into a reality. He invested his own money, ensuring independence from day one, and assembled a team of the best designer, engineer, and advisors, including experts from Hydro Flask and Cambridge Audio, among others. His goal was to bring the best mechanical solution coupled with the most sophisticated design to market, a unit that would not only enhance his vinyl experience but also elevate his home. He had a deep trust that it would look stunning in the most sophisticated listening rooms and studios around the world.
